Bruce and I had a great experience with Dr. Evert, she was so caring and brilliant. The way she interacted with my cat showed she really understands how to help them feel safe. The vet techs were also very caring and honestly enjoyed working with animals. My bill was not crazy and they broke everything down for me, even followed up with me the next day. I was also able to get in same day that I called. I got lab results by email in two days. Very pleased with my experience.

We have been Dr. Plummer’s biggest fans since our first visit, and have since referred a number of our friends to his practice (in fact we saw one today coming in as we were leaving). When we first moved to St Pete in 2020, we were in search of a new vet. We noticed the majority were nearing retirement age, and we worried about continuity of care for our 6 year old Australian shepherd. We stumbled upon Dr. Plummer, a young vet who had just opened his practice and was the sole provider at the time. We like the idea of small owner/operator clinician-owned clinics as it generally ensures you always get seen by the same provider or small group of providers (as opposed to passed through the system to whomever is first available). Every visit with Dr. Plummer is extremely thorough, and he always takes the time to explain the findings and treatment options at length. It’s not uncommon for us to spend 30 minutes to an hour face-to-face with Dr. Plummer, particularly when dealing with new onset serious conditions (in our case, idiopathic epilepsy, and recently, an aggressive cancer of intramuscular hemangiosarcoma). They are always able to accommodate us day-of in emergent situations, and always manage to remediate problems caused by poor care at other 24/7 emergency clinics (Blue Pearl) such as failing sutures due to poor application and resultant infection. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of care our furry loved ones receive. We promise your experience with Dr. Plummer will be unmatched.

This is the best vet I have ever used! I took my two dogs in the week before Thanksgiving and one had a tumor that needed to be tested. She also got a steroid, but ended up having a bad reaction to it. Every time I called, they were quick to answer and made sure they got an answer for me from the doctor as soon as they could. The day after Thanksgiving, I got a call from Dr. Plummer asking how my dog was doing. You can tell how much he cares about all the animals that come in. He also let me know that the tumor was benign and there were no concerns. I just wanted to share how amazing these people are and how much they care about our pets. I highly recommend this vet!!

Plummer Pet Hospital became our primary vet recently and were very helpful in accommodating needs for two senior cats. They squeezed us in same day twice, once right after we first registered with them. Unfortunately both cats wound up having to be put down for separate reasons (done at a separate emergency vet) and after notifying Plummer, they sent a sympathy card from the staff even though we'd only had a few visits with them. We'll continue to bring our other cat there.

After a holiday what you don't need is an emergency with your pet but, the staff and Doctors at Plummer Pet Hospital were amazing!! Being new in town I was out of my element and count my self honored to be a forever client. Care, compassion, knowledge and patience from the first point of contact to the successful end - can't say enough! Thank you!!!!
